Privacy Policy

The nature of services provided by Centers for New Horizons, INC. requires that information be handled in a private, confidential manner. In some cases, it is illegal and/or a violation of Centers’ contracts to release information about our consumers and their families without proper authorization.

Information about our business or our employees, consumers, and their families will not be released to people or organizations outside the company without the written consent of the affected persons or of Centers’ managers; the only exceptions to this policy will be to follow legal, regulatory, or contractual requirements. All memoranda, notes, reports, or other documents will remain part of the organization’s confidential records.

Personal or identifying information about our employees, consumers, and their families (such as names, addresses, phone numbers or salaries) will not be released to employees not authorized by the nature of their duties to receive such information without the consent of management or the employee. Should discussions involving the personal information related to employees, consumer, or their families, be necessary for Centers’ work, those discussions should be conducted in private.

The inappropriate release of confidential information or the failure to adequately protect files or other documents containing adequate information are grounds for corrective action.
